Edet Johnathan Ekere, B.Sc., M.Sc., MBA | Senior Consultant
Edet Johnathan Ekere is the former Executive Director of Operations at Nigerian Export-Import (NEXIM) Bank, a role he was appointed to by the President of Nigeria in 2003. With decades of experience in banking, investment, and project finance, he has played a key role in shaping Nigeria’s economic development strategies.
His career began in 1981 at the Nigerian Industrial Development Bank, now the Bank of Industry, where he served as an Industrial Engineer in the Project Promotion and Development Department. In 1987, he joined NAL Merchant Bank, now part of Sterling Bank Group, where he was instrumental in formulating and implementing the World Bank-assisted Infrastructure Development Fund and Health Systems Fund. During his tenure at NAL, he held leadership roles across Treasury, Public Sector Finance, Financial Advisory Services, and Investment Banking. He left NAL in 2003 as Deputy General Manager to take up his appointment at NEXIM Bank.
A distinguished professional, he is an Honorary Senior Member of The Chartered Institute of Bankers, a Fellow of the Institute of Credit Administrators, a Member of the Institute of Directors, and a Member of Tau Beta Pi, the Engineering Honor Society in the United States. He also served on Nigeria’s National Implementation Committee for the review of the first National Implementation Plan of the National Vision 20:20.
Edet holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering from the University of Central Florida and an MBA in Banking and Finance from the University of Lagos. He also completed an Advanced Management Diploma from Lagos Business School.
Emmanuel Adetunji Shyllon, M.Sc., Ph.D., MNIS | Project Manager
Emmanuel Adetunji Shyllon is a GIS analyst, surveyor, lecturer, consultant, and researcher with over 20 years of experience in geospatial data analysis, project management, and sustainable water management. His work spans key organizations, including the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), National Petroleum Investment Management Services (NAPIMS), and ENPLAN Group.
His expertise lies in GIS and GPS application development, geospatial modeling, and infrastructure planning, particularly in the water and energy sectors. He has published over 13 professional articles and has played a pivotal role in the implementation of large-scale water infrastructure projects, including the CAS Customer Enumeration project for the Cross River State Water Board Limited, funded by the African Development Bank Group.
Raphael Ebhojie, Ph.D. | Project Manager
Raphael Ebhojie is an economist and financial analyst with over 30 years of experience in government, water project management, and financial restructuring. His career includes roles as Director at the Ministry of Finance, Division Manager at the African Development Bank, and Program Officer for the World Bank, where he contributed to major economic reform initiatives.
During his tenure at the Federal Ministry of Finance, he underwent specialized management training with the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). He has served on the Board of Directors for the Nigeria Industrial Development Bank (NIDB), Peugeot Nigeria Automobile Limited, Benue Cement Company, and the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria.
With extensive experience in development finance and infrastructure project management, he has led four World Bank-funded projects under CAS, including the Adamawa State Water Board Water Supply Project, the Ogun State Water Board Project, and the Kaduna State Water Board Projects, ensuring strategic execution and financial sustainability.
Abiodun Kester Eke, MBA, M.Eng. | President
Abiodun Kester Eke is a development consultant, certified management consultant, and cost accountant with over 30 years of experience in development finance, industrial engineering, banking, and business management. He was the pioneer Chief Executive Officer of the government-owned Universal Investment and Development Company (UIDC) Plc, and the pioneer Managing Director of UIDC Securities Limited, a dealing member of the Nigerian Stock Exchange and issuing house, both appointments made by the Governors of Edo and Delta States.
His career began in 1981 at the Nigerian Industrial Development Bank (NIDB), now Bank of Industry, where he worked as an Industrial Engineer and later as a Senior Investment Executive in the Investment Supervision Department. In 1987, he joined NAL Merchant Bank, now a member of Sterling Bank Group, as an Assistant Manager and later Deputy Manager in the Project Finance Unit, contributing to the development of World Bank-assisted funds for infrastructure and health systems.
An esteemed member of international professional bodies, he is affiliated with the International Economic Development Council (IEDC) in Washington DC, is a Certified Management Consultant in both the United States and the United Kingdom, and a Fellow of the Institute of Management in the United Kingdom. He is an alumnus of the World Bank Development Institute in Petroleum Finance Management.
Abiodun holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, an MBA with distinction in Financial Management, and a Master’s degree in Transportation Planning and Engineering from City University of New York. He has also received an honorary Doctor of Divinity and is currently pursuing a DBA in Business Intelligence from Capella University and a Master’s in Predictive Analytics from Northwestern University.
He is listed in the 56th edition of Marquis Who's Who in America and has been recognized as an American Alien of Extraordinary Ability. Having successfully built businesses across three continents, he operates in London, New York, Lagos, and Abuja and serves as the President of Primus International Consulting.
